6 Unexplained Mysteries That Remain Unsolved To This Day - Podcast Episode 01 (What The F*ck Fights)
Updated: Feb 18
That time it rained blobs of jelly, the mysterious bridge that lures dogs to make a 50 foot leap, the people of 1518 who danced themselves to death... Welcome to What The Fuck Fights Episode 01.
On this week's podcast episode (our very first one!) the theme was "unexplained occurrences." It was harder than you might think to come up with these! Both of us struggled in our research, because even though there are a lot of crazy things happening on Earth, most of it has some sort of official explanation. Our goal was to come up with bizarre, mysterious stories of things that no one has been able to figure out.
Here you'll find the photos we discussed on the podcast and the sources we used. Be sure to listen to the actual episode to get all the fun details and banter!

CHASE: THE STILL-UNSOLVED KRYPTOS CODE
Here is the photo of the sculpture we talked about on the podcast.

And here is what the fourth code looks like:

JENN: THE TIME IT RAINED BLOBS OF JELLY IN OAKVILLE, WASHINGTON
I couldn't find a good photo of the actual blobs from that day, but this article on Medium.com has a lot of fascinating information from some of the people who were witnesses to the bizarre blob rain.
Here's where I got most of the info:
The winner of Round 1, according to Anonymous Adam - Jenn
CHASE: THE MONTAUK MONSTER
Here is the main photo he talked about on the podcast. Freaky, right?

Doesn't it kinda make you think of a griffin (gryphon) without wings?

JENN: THE MUTILATION OF LIVESTOCK THAT LEAVES NO BLOOD BEHIND
There are a variety of images out there on this subject. I didn't want to upload them directly here because some of them are just too gruesome. Click here to see the cow that just looks... deflated, like a plush toy with no stuffing... and click here to see the one that had its face skinned (as well as its tongue and sex organs removed). Yikes.
I just don't understand WHYYYYY.
The winner of Round 2, according to Anonymous Adam - Chase (barely!)
CHASE: OVERTOUN BRIDGE
This one is as sad as it is baffling. Click on this link to see pictures of the bridge as well as the supposed ghost images. Come back and comment to tell us if you see a ghost within the red circle or not. I don't, but Chase does. Maybe someone can help me to see it lol.
JENN: THE DANCING PLAGUE OF 1518
This engraving is based on a drawing from by "Pieter Brueghel, who supposedly witnessed a subsequent outbreak in 1564" according to Wikipedia.
Either way, the song will be stuck in my head all day, that's for sure.
The winner of Round 3, according to Anonymous Adam - Chase
Okay, so this is the part where we need your help! This week's champ is Chase, according to Anonymous Adam. Do you agree or disagree? Comment below! Also, feel free to comment with any suggestions you have for future themes or topics.
